BAISAKHI

 

Baisakhi is the festival which is being celebrated with great vitality and enthusiasm in the state of Punjab and other states of India. It is very significant festival for Sikhs as it is the day when tenth Guru of Sikhs, Guru Gobind Singh formed the Khalsa Path dates back in the year 1699. At Anandpur Sahib in Punjab Guru Gobind Singh selected five fearless leaders among his followers and these five leaders were prepared to save the lives of others.
